For every kiss I gave you,
I had another thousand.
For every smile, there would have been a million more.
In every caress, six thousand others were waiting
for us to find a way to go on.
 
And I know for each kiss you gave me,
you had another thousand.
And I know that in every smile and gesture,
there were many more ready to glow.
But I also know we cherish the ones we shared
and we were right to let it go.
So let’s have nothing more than gratefulness,
and let’s be brave to find more joy.
